Best of Mid-2011

So far 2011 has been a great year for music releases. Picks so far...
Memphis May Fire - The Hollow - I cannot stop listening to this. I am one who has appreciated the new direction, and while the sound maybe "generic", these guys know what they are doing and have one of the most distinctive and powerful vocalists in the genre. Favourite track "The Sinner".
The Human Abstract - Digital Veil - Beautiful and Brutal. Just listen to the title track "Digital Veil".Favourite track "Digital Veil".

Times of Graces - The Hymn Of A Broken Man - Adam Dutkiewicz (Killswitch Engage) and Jesse Leach (The Empire Shall Fall, formerly of Killswitch Engage and Seemless) could anything go wrong? No! This album both hark ens back to the days of Killswitch Engage with Jesse, with powerful songs, positive message and a fantastic surprise in "The Forgotten One". Favourite track "Where The Spirit Leads Me"
Scar Symmetry - The Unseen Empire - Another album on constant loop. The Unseen Empire see Scar Symmetry recover from the loss of vocalist Christian Älvestam and make a new path with duel vocalists. This Album is catchy but what else can you expect from Scar Symmetry. Favourite track "Extinction Mantra".
Honourable Mention
Sirens & Sailors - Still Breathing - This album was released 13 November 2010 and I did not know the band existed until a review on theNewReview in December. This album deserves to be high on a 2010 list, so I rate it high on 2011
